In this shift that we are finding ourselves in right now, individually and globally, the news are very confusing. There is a plethora of information out there and we do not know whom to trust any more. We are anxious to see how things develop and what is being revealed, and on social media, the exposing of the villains is commented with fury and spite.

That is understandable. We have been lied to for so long that we do not exactly have friendly feelings towards those who did that, apart from the fact that unfathomable suffering was caused by them to many souls and living beings.

However, there is a side to things that I see as very underrepresented in the information we find about the current unfolding of things. We need not forget that the human being is a microcosm in a macrocosm, and the macrocosm is in the microcosm. How does that work? We are all creator beings, and the microcosm that we are is multiplied towards the outside and creates energetic structures. We have grown up with a separation consciousness. We externalize the bad and the reasons for its existence, and we believe that everything outside of what we see as our body is separate from us. We are separate. And this separation consciousness ultimately leads to arguments, wars, violence, loneliness, and most of all, victim consciousness. We blame someone other than ourselves for what is happening to us.

There is no enemy to ourselves but ourselves. We are being given the opportunity to take back our power and adopt 100% responsibility for what happens in our lives. That does not mean that we are only confronted with things to our liking. There will always be adverse conditions as long as we move on this dual 3D plane. But it is how we react that matters and what ultimately determines our own condition. Everything that happens in our lives can be used as a chance to grow, to evolve, to move a step up in the ladder towards the Light, or we can succumb to the pain that difficult or unbearable circumstances creates in us and become hard, disappointed, broken, ill in mind and eventually in body.

The state the world is in right now is one that all of us have created together. If we point fingers towards the dark forces and externalize the bad, we are missing the opportunity to free ourselves of the dark inside of us. This is not to say that the dark does not exist in the outside, and that we should let is do whatever it so pleases. It is of utmost importance to use the power of discernment and draw borders in our own sovereignty. But we can do this with love in our hearts, or with hearts full of hate. We can see ourselves as maltreated, poor victims, or we can see ourselves as sovereign beings in our power and light.

I see the war between the Light and the Dark stressed in many of the posts of the spiritual community. What I do not see mentioned very much is that the war between the Light and the Dark is taking place inside of ourselves just as much as outside. The war between the Light and the Dark can never be ultimately won, just temporarily, because on the dual plane, there will always be opposites. They are two sides of the same coin and this is the structure of this plane. So in order for the Light to “win”, we can move above the plane of dualism and integrate the Light and the Dark as two sides of one Unity. Every attack is an opportunity for us to get stronger. Every crisis is an opportunity for a change, for innovative solutions, for the transformation of old structures we have outgrown. Every downfall is the opportunity for the realization of things we had overlooked before. So the Dark actually serves the Light – depending on where we find ourselves. If we are ourselves in the Dark, then the Dark is the tormenter, the cause of all our suffering, that must be killed, eliminated, taken out in order for us to be free. If we are in the Light, the Dark is bringing more light forward. And then eventually we move up above the plane of dualism and see that there is only Light. That the colors of experience are manifold. That we always have the choice. That we are ever-evolving and growing.

And then the outside circumstances have lost their power over us. It is then that we find a deep inner peace with everything that is. It is then that we are not looking for salvation from someone, whether it be a politician or a guru. It is then that we realize who we truly are.
